Vegetables and Fruit Smoothies

Vegetables and fruit are the best source of vitamins and minerals. To exploit even more those qualities you can make smoothies (or juices).

You can experiment with many ingredients, however as a guideline you can try with these ingredients for a vegetable smoothie:

  • 100 ml of water
  • ½ fennel
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 celery
  • ¼ of onion (optional)
  • 1 clove of garlic (optional)

If you want a “sweet” smoothie you can try the following ingredients as a guideline and obtain a vegetable, fruit and nuts smoothie (do not use a juicer if you put in a fruit):

  • 100 ml of water
  • ½ fennel
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 green apple or wild berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, …)
  • 50 grams of cashew nuts
  • (optional) A handful of seeds (hemp, sunflower, pumpkin, flax, chia …)

You can also add ice to obtain a fresh beverage.
