“Easter is the sign of peace, not pain. A slain Christ has no meaning. But a risen Christ becomes the symbol of the Son of God’s forgiveness on himself; the sign he looks upon himself as healed and whole.” – A Course in Miracles
“A Course in Miracles” is a self-study spiritual book that teaches the way to universal love and peace.
Even though the language is that of traditional Christianity, it expresses a universal spiritual teaching, not an organized religion.
It is a clear example of a humanistic view of religions. It teaches a peaceful way to spirituality because at its core it’s just a philosophy.
The only message of Jesus’s crucifixion is that you can overcome the cross.
You have nailed yourself to a cross and placed a crown of thorns upon your own head.
This is you when you think you are not enough, when you act like a victim, when you feel depressed, when you think it’s over.
But the resurrection is a symbol to indicate that you can overcome those fears, that everything was just created in your mind.
You can find within yourself the truth of who you really are.
Each day, each hour and minute, even each second, you are deciding between the crucifixion and the resurrection; between the ego and the Holy Spirit.
The power of decision is yours.
Don’t wait for an external God to come to save you.
He will never come. Because he never left.
He is the Universe, he is the Nature, he exists inside of every cell in your body.
The only thing stopping you from realizing this… is the person you think you are.
